I work at the hospital and it is by far the best job I've ever had. The care I see every day is totally amazing and if I or a relative was looking for a hospital I wouldn't hesitate to recommend NDDH. I've been there a year in a few days and I've never seen anything less than brilliant care. The nursing team, therapy team, doctors, everybody all do absolutely everything in their power to get the patients better
Recently had a knee replacement and all staff on tarka ward were great and thanks to Dr Naklha i am pain free in that knee x
Thursday 29th November I was brought into A & E by an emergency ambulance with chest pains/CVE I was treated well, kept informed and had a string of tests. Taken to MAU again well looked after, allowed to rest. Before being transferred to Victoria Ward. Quick observations made then had a sleep. Breakfast was good along with lunch. Served plenty of coffee. All of the staff treated and looked after me. My dignity and respect was there at all times. The only down side was I was able to go home was waiting for medication and discharge letter. Now at least the hospital has got to the bottom of my problems. A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE STAFF. I wrote a review of my care and treatment at Ladywell unit and my stay on KG ward in September 2017 and it has NOT been put here why?. I cannot praise the staff from ALL LEVELS high enough,,,the care I received was excellent..40 years ago I had my babies privately in a London hospital and I can honestly say the NDDH was far far better in every way . Please do not believe all the POLITICAL stories you read in the paper..Let the staff get on with their jobs,,support them and best of all give them the respect they deserve..and it seems to me that excellent reports are not mentioned...If it was not for the dedication of Ladywell Unit I would not be here today ,,keep up the wonderful work you do and keep the politics out !!
Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. They asked good questions and listened well and were very attentive. Waiting for the pharmacy was a little slow for checkout. As a visitor to the country I was very impressed by the service.
