Always amazing food. I am very particular with Chinese takeaways and this is the only Chinese takeaway that i will eat from in the North Devon area.
I ordered ribs & egg fried rice. The rice was what you'd expect BUT the ribs.....AWFUL. They had already been reheated & I could tell by the way they looked, the meat was grey and they were really tough. They were fairly cold when I got them home & I live 5 - 10 mins away. I can't describe the sauce because it was so acidic I couldn't eat it. I have had their food before and it used to be good before they got rid of the fryers. Now its terrible. DO NOT EAT THERE AGAIN. I'll go to the restaurant next to the Rising Sun next time. I've been sick
Food is average and the service is good. Cannot understand why they shut so early. Seems like they don't want custom. There is plenty of choice nearby though.
