Russell has looked after the plumbing and heating within my houses over the past 16 years. Russell always completes any job to a really high standard and can be replied upon to ensure the issue is fixed promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Russell to people who are looking for a plumbing company.

Nothing was much trouble, responded to my call out the same day and problem fixed with new parts ordered within 48 hours. As a single mum it was reassuring that work was done quickly and not breaking the bank. Will definitely be using Russel again.

Extremely pleased with the continued excellent service we receive. We recently had an issue with our boiler leaking and this was dealt with quickly and efficiently. We used Russell for our recent extension where he fitted a new ensuite. We were extremely happy with the advice, price and the overall look of the new room. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company for any future work

Very impressed with the high standard of service provided from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble even when coming across problems along the way! I would highly recommend Russell and will definitely be calling on him in future!

Initially very pleased but over the time after a large installation with new build and existing replumbing/heating etc, the problems became evident. From leaking joints to undersized pumps and design issues, disappointing. After trying to manage and accept post-fix repairs and compromising on works to minimise the down time of the business etc, and avoid digging up floors where leaking underfloor pipes were requiring rerouting, in January 2018 I eventually provided the plumber with a report which set out only some of the issues with his work (not all by any means). He initially agreed to do remedial works which he estimated at around 4,000 I believe. Then as more issues came to light two months ago I decided to take the matter through my insurers and not try to work with someone who I had lost faith in after so many issues, (and someone who I noted had a tendency to criticise other tradesman's works, or work ethic rather than focusing on their errors). I asked for his insurance details. He ignored the request. I then chased this. Again some weeks past and he ignored the request. I then decided to make enquiries with regulatory bodies and learned that he did not in fact have some of the registrations I expected from the works he had undertaken and at this point, after I began the process to start the litigious route so I could get another contractor in to resolve the issues, did I receive an email from this contractor alleging I had money issues, that I had not paid invoices, that I was calling his house all hours and excessively, all of which are untrue. He also made it clear that he would not provide his insurance details so that our respective insurers could reduce costs of resolving this matter without court proceedings. I also didn't want to work with someone who didn't focus on the resolution, but always made me feel like he was doing me a favour by correcting issues. At this point I realised that there was no point in doing anything other than progressing a legal route and getting another contractor in to undertake the works to put the installation into the position it should have been all this time and so that is where I am with matters. I am also left wondering if this trader does in fact have any insurance cover at all so if you are going to use this person, who on the face of it seems a nice friendly family man, and a helpful sort of chap (and I'm sure he is if you don't raise issues with his workmanship), then make sure you get insurance details and check credentials. Unfortunately I cannot recommend him for the type of domestic/commercial job he did for me but this does not mean is unable to do smaller jobs successfully. Just be cautious. I hope this is a fair review of my experience of his work and (unfortunately) his attitude to resolution which appears to falsify history to divert from real issues and blame everyone else for matters instead of addressing practical matters so that an installation can be properly completed. Disappointing.
