Really great place to visit, the staff are friendly and welcoming. You can tell that they are passionate about what they do and it shows in their service. Lots to see, well worth a visit.
Had a lovely day easy to walk round. In spite of foggy weather animals were visible with viewing platforms . Staff friendly and informative. Restaurants very good and reasonably priced. Good value day out
A great day out and the children loved it. However, it may be because we went in January, but some enclosures were either under repair or empty and it does need a bit of updating. This did jot take away from the experience for the kids and we would definitely go back (on a warm day)
Nice little zoo. Not a lot of big animals, but lots of smaller rare species that you won't find anywhere else in Britain. Friendly staff and many event sessions to attend during the day, including a daily lunchtime chance to feed the wallabies by hand. Good for a solid few hours of entertainment, but might not be good for the whole day unless you fancy the nature trail. Well worth a visit, regardless of the time of year.
I love this place. Clearly the animals are well cared-for and the staff friendly. Food is a mixed bag but cheap and quick to arrive. Overall a charming zoo with real character.
