GIFT CARD WARNING!!Really poor customer service, went to spend my 50 gift voucher to be told it had expired? My receipt clearly states the date of purchase of the gift voucher and by the receipt I have 3 days until expiration. They stated there was nothing they could do that evening and would pass it to the manager. The manager did call the next morning to tell me that the voucher had expired and that the receipt I have is actually in American date format and there is nothing they can do.( This is Barnstaple and we are in the uk). I had to go into the store to collect my receipt and voucher and I spoke with the manager again and asked why are you not pointing this out to their customers? Her answer is maybe we should. She suggested calling the number on the back of the gift card and making a complaint as its a separate company. No offer what so ever to do this for me while I was In store or any offer to phone there head office and forward my complaint. Please be aware when making purchases of gift vouchers from (Pandora Barnstaple) store and others as receipts are your proof of purchase and in this case clearly not due to incorrect date format. This company must be making thousands of pounds each year though this gift card system!!I have since called the gift card company and spoken to them about this misleading situation in the Barnstaple store and they couldn't apologise enough for this. They took my details and didnt hesitate in offering me a replacement gift card with the 50 on it. Shame on you Pandora!!

Really bad customer service ! Had to get head office to call them in the end to sort out and tell them how to do there job ! Unhelpful untruthful and just want sales no after service at all
