My worst stay ever at a hotel. The mattress was too hard, there was only two pillows for the two people in the room and they were so thin they offered no support, when we asked for more they said they didn't have any spare ones. The building was right next to a hill and looking out the room window it fleet like we were against a wall. There was barely no cell reception on the room and no WiFi. We staid 3 nights and on the second day they didn't even clean the room. When all this was brought to the attention of the reception staff an they did was shrug their shoulders. No refund of any other compensation was offered after such a miserable stay and the room wasn't even cheap, in price because in quality it couldn't have been any worst. Well... It could, there could have been cockroaches walking around the room...
Fairly standard Premier Inn. You get what you pay for. Next door to a Table Table which is convenient, and opposite a large Tesco.
The onsite "Table to Table" pub was friendly like the hotel staff. Sadly the fabric of the pub was shoddy. With torn and worn chairs. Wet cushions and graffiti on decorative items. Time for a refit. Lovely service did give some distraction
Excellent hotel- just what you would expect from a Premier Inn. 5 mins by car from centre of Barnstable. Breakfast very good. Staff very polite and helpful. My only gripe was that someone in the room. Above made too much noise so disturbed my sleep but I suppose you can't have everything!!
Not stayed here for over 6 months but the receptionist remembered me and welcomed me back (nice touch). Room is the usual Premier Inn quality...no noise from nearby roads..walls a little thin as you can here mobile phones ringing in the next room when they are just on vibrate!!! Food in the table table is good...
